I’m Anika, and this is my rescue dog, Nutmeg. Nutmeg might not look like a typical service dog, and our journey hasn’t been the most traditional either, but she’s proof that connection, consistency, and confidence building can take you further than any expectations ever could.
Our current project was born out of a simple question: “If I couldn’t speak for my dog tomorrow, who would know how to care for them today?” As someone deeply involved in the dog world, I know that our pups have unique quirks, triggers, and routines that keep them feeling secure. I designed the Rescue Ready Canine Workbook to capture those vital details and bridge the gap between everyday life and emergency preparedness, giving you the peace of mind that your most vulnerable family member is always protected by a plan, not just a hope.

In the past couple months we’ve built a highly engaged community of dog moms, service dog handlers, and individuals with dynamic disabilities across North America. Our audience looks to us for real-world insight on service dog life, inspiration & motivation, emergency preparedness and accessible products and services that promote a fulfilling quality of life.
Despite being in the early stage of development, our content has consistently reached over 200k views per month, with multiple reels surpassing 60k views and strong engagement relative to our follower account demonstrating trust, relatability, and algorithmic traction.
